India’s most anticipated one-day sports event, the Patna Marathon is organised by a big global group of enthusiastic people. More than 1000 volunteers will be required in the event to; provide runners with drinks, to distribute medals to the runners and to greet participants at the finish.
Help organize the Patna Marathon and:

To Make the Patna Marathon a big success, Volunteers will play a major role in this.

You can take up following activities:

Accommodation Companion

Participating Runners can use changing facilities at various locations. There will be a number of entrances and exits, all needs to be guarded and protected. As an Accommodation Companion you ensure that everything and everyone is in the correct place.

Care Companion

After each four to five kilometers a care post will be established. At care post Care Companion will be responsible to hand out drinks to the runners and to set-up the post.

Race secretariat Companion

Before the Marathon starts and during the course of Marathon, the participating runner may ask questions relating to the route and other queries. Race secretariat Companion will be responsible to provide the information in an organised way to solve the problem of runner.

Start/finish Companion

Volunteers are required at the start and finish of Marathon. Start/finish Companion will help the runners with entry to the various starting points, hand out medals and give out drinks to runners who have completed the race.

Traffic controller

During Marathon, the road will be free of traffic. And in doing so, the vehicles should not be allowed to enter into the process. Traffic controller will be responsible to prevent vehicles entering streets that come out on to the course.
