Competition Timing Starting Time: 6AM

Four categories:

1. Full Marathon – 42.2Km

2. Pragati Daur – 10.0Km

3. Centenary Run – 05.0 Km

4. Dream Run / Blind Run – 1Km

*Out of these, only Full Marathon and Pragati Daur are competitive races

Eligibility

 Anyone of the age group 13 or above (Male/Female) are eligible to participate in Patna Marathon’s Pragati Daur, Centenary Run and Dream Run / Blind Run. For Full Marathon, the minimum age limit is 18 years as on 01 Feb 2012.

Persons below 18 years of age as on 01 Feb 2012 have to submit authorization from their legal guardian.

Any person suffering from any sort of heart disease is NOT eligible to be a participant

Runner Categories

Anyone of the age group 13 or above (Male/Female) are eligible to participate in Patna Marathon’s Pragati Daur, Centenary Run and Dream Run / Blind Run. For Full Marathon, the minimum age limit is 18 years as on 01 Feb 2012.

Registration Confirmation

Anyone willing to participate in Patna Marathon can register from the online form available. The participant will receive the confirmation for their participation by the third week of February’12. If a participant doesn’t receives his confirmation mail until 22 February’12, he/she must inform the same to us at contact@patnamarathon.com

Start & Finish Timing

Starting time: 6 a.m.

Finishing time: 1 p.m.

Timings may change due to unavoidable circumstances, hence please keep your time slots free till 5 p.m.

Medical Care

 Medical camps with basic first-aid facility will be available at every 5 kms. If someone wants to drop-out, he/she may report to these centers.

Additionally, medically trained volunteer and para-medics will be deployed on the route and they may be approached for any medical help.

Medical Ambulances will be running throughout the course for any emergency.

Method of Ranking

Ranking method of runners:

All runners in the competitive categories will be tagged with a timing chip to track their times and ensure that the complete route has been followed. The timing arrived from the timing chip will be final and non-disputable.
