Living Patna Marathon – from thoughts to ground

A marathon at Patna – this was an idea which struck some of us around mid-2011. A culmination of thoughts, a collaborative effort, brainstorming, campaigning, learning, planning and executing.. we’ve come a long way! The idea of Patna Marathon was a result of doing something for Patna and thus Bihar by people from Bihari diaspora who wanted to do something, however small it be, to contribute to development of Bihar. Dear all, after a series of deliberation and meeting between our CEO Atul Kumar & team and Dy CM Shri Sushil Modi, we have decided to re-schedule the date of thePatna Marathon from 19th to 26th Feb Sunday 2012. The reschedule was the only option keeping in view that Global Bihar Meet is also being held from 17-19 Feb 2012 and according to Dy CM, he and dist administration will have lot of limitations in providing administrative support to Patna Marathon on 19th Feb.
